Same-Day, Urgent Care, Walk-Ins and Drop-Off's Welcome!

Care When Your Pet Needs It Most
TotalBond Veterinary Hospital is open Monday through Saturday. We override regularly scheduled appointments to treat emergency cases during operating hours.
If you’re unsure whether your pet needs urgent medical attention, keep an eye out for the following warning signs — they may indicate a serious health risk:
- Trouble breathing or labored respiration
- Inability to urinate or have a bowel movement
- Loss of consciousness or unresponsiveness
- Diarrhea lasting more than 24 hours
- Presence of blood in urine or stool
- Swollen or unusually warm abdomen
- Suspected ingestion of a toxic substance (e.g., rat poison, antifreeze, household cleaners, or unprescribed medication)
- Signs of severe pain such as whining, hiding, trembling, or excessive crying
If you're ever unsure about the severity of your pet’s condition, don’t hesitate to call our professional team — it’s always better to ask. We’re trained to handle these situations, and there's never a reason to feel embarrassed when your pet’s health is at stake. If your pet needs urgent care in the Lake Norman Area, we strongly encourage you to call ahead, even if it’s while you're on the way. This helps us prepare and ensure timely care, especially during busy hours or when other appointments are in progress.
