Pain Management
A successful rehab program uses a multimodal pain management approach, addressing pain from multiple angles to support healing, mobility, and quality of life.
The term multi-modal refers to a focused approach for managing or eliminating pain by employing multiple therapies and modalities including:
- Therapeutic Laser
- Therapeutic Exercise
- Therapeutic Massage and Myofascial Triggerpoint Therapy
- Pharmaceuticals
- Decreased activity or reluctance to move, jump, or climb stairs
- Restlessness, pacing, difficulty getting comfortable
- Withdrawal or decreased social interaction
- Changes in sleep patterns (sleeping more or less)
- Hiding more, less interactive or affectionate
- Decreased grooming or over-grooming a painful area
- Decreased appetite

Post-Op Recovery
Senior/Arthritis Patients
Aging isn’t an illness, but it can bring new challenges. Thanks to advances in veterinary medicine, our pets are living longer than ever — and with that, we’re seeing more age-related issues like arthritis and mobility changes that can impact their comfort and independence.
Many pets that appear to be “slowing down” are actually experiencing chronic pain. Dogs and cats alike can develop arthritis — in fact, research shows that 90% of cats over 10 years old have some degree of joint change, even though they rarely show obvious signs.
If your pet is limping, reluctant to jump or climb, or seems stiff after rest, they may benefit from a rehabilitation program focused on easing pain, improving flexibility, and helping them move with greater comfort and confidence in their senior years.
