Dr. Katie Heisler

Dr. Katie Heisler brings her passion for veterinary medicine and compassionate care to Totalbond Veterinary Hospital. A graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Heisler completed her clinical studies at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.

With professional interests in soft tissue surgery, urgent care, preventative medicine, and palliative care, Dr. Heisler is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of pets and fostering the human-animal bond. Beyond her medical expertise, she is deeply committed to community outreach, particularly supporting shelters through dog and cat sterilization initiatives.

Dr. Heisler lives in Gastonia, North Carolina, with her partner David, their loyal German shepherd, Pongo, and their four charming cats: Lokie, Khali, and Agnes. When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and giving back to her local community.
