Malena
Practice Manager
Malena has been in the veterinary field for over 20 years and has been with TotalBond for those 20+ years. She started as a Customer Service Representative and worked her way up to Practice Manager, helping to open New Hope Veterinary Hospital in July 2023. Her passion is people and helping them navigate the needs of their fur babies in both good and bad times of their lives.
In her free time, she enjoys trips to the mountains and spending time with her family. She and her husband Chad have a Great Dane/Pit Mix named Maysie.
Nelson
Registered Veterinary Technician
Nelson is a new addition to the Total Bond family as of spring 2024. He graduated from Gaston College’s Vet Tech program in 2023 and went on to become a fully licensed RVT in early 2024. He always had a passion for animals big and small, spending half his childhood on horseback, and the other half looking for frogs and lizards in the nearest creek. Nelson has been in the field since 2021, and looks forward to many more years to grow his experience and help animals. He spends his free time hiking and playing video games – when his two cats Jude and Rigby aren’t demanding snuggles, that is!
Michelle
Senior Veterinary Assistant
Michelle has been working in the veterinary field for over 30 years. Her love for all creatures great and small developed into a career taking care of animals in emergency medicine and now working for TotalBond for the past 7 years.
In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her husband and daughters. She has 2 cattle dogs, Stevie and Digger, and 4 cats.
Jennifer
Veterinary Assistant
Jennifer joined our team in September 2024. Originally from Northern Virginia, she moved to Charlotte in 2007 after the birth of her first son. With over two decades of experience in the veterinary medical field, Jennifer has honed her skills through hands-on learning from dedicated technicians and doctors. She has always had a passion for working with animals, a dream she has pursued since childhood.
Jennifer takes pride in client education and providing compassionate care for pets. Her professional interests include dental care, anesthesia, and emergency medicine.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her two sons, Connor and Michael, and her husband, Brian. She also cherishes her rescue dogs, Olive and Shy, and admits that if she had a bigger home, she’d welcome even more!
Liliane
Veterinary Assistant
Liliane is Veterinary Assistant/Customer Service Representative and has been with New Hope Veterinary Hospital for 2 years. She has been in the veterinary field for 5 years. Her absolute favorite part of her job is being able to advocate for the pets and get to see pets improve with treatment. She has 2 dogs at home-Daisy and Rosco P Coltrane. In her free time she enjoys cooking and spending time with friends and family.
